Youth Killed in Road Mishap on Biju Expressway in Sundargarh

Sundargarh: A 25-year-old youth was killed in a road accident on the Biju Expressway near Telighana bus stand under Kutra police limits on Wednesday evening.

The deceased has been identified as Binay Pradhan, a resident of Nuadihi village in Talasara block.

According to reports, the mishap occurred around 6 p.m. when Pradhan, who was riding his motorcycle from Sundargarh towards Kutra, lost control near Telighana and fell on the road.

Police personnel rushed to the spot and shifted him to the Kutra Community Health Centre, where doctors declared him dead shortly after admission.

Kutra police have registered a case and launched an investigation into the incident.
