Youth Found Dead Near Motto College in Bhadrak, Family Alleges Murder

Bhadrak: In a shocking development, a youth who had been missing for the past three days was found dead near Motto +3 Degree College under Chandbali police limits in Bhadrak district on Monday.

The deceased has been identified as Alok Bal, son of Prafulla Bal from Nalitagadia village under Utukuda Panchayat. According to sources, locals discovered the body lying near the private college premises early Monday morning and immediately alerted the police.

Upon receiving information, officers from the Motto police outpost rushed to the spot and recovered the body. A mobile phone was found near the deceased, and his identity was confirmed through a document attached to the back of the device.

Preliminary investigation revealed multiple injury marks on Alok’s body, reportedly caused by acid burns. His family members have alleged that he was murdered, and that the body was dumped near the college to mislead investigators.

Police suspect that acid may have been poured on certain parts of the body. The Chandbali Police have registered a case and launched a detailed investigation to identify the culprits and ascertain the motive behind the gruesome killing.

The incident has sparked tension and outrage in the area, with locals demanding a thorough probe and strict action against those responsible.
