Woman’s body recovered from canal in Bargarh

Bargarh: In an unfortunate incident, the dead body of a married woman was recovered from a canal near Bisipali bridge on the Satalama road on Sunday. The incident took place under the Barapali police limits under Odisha’s Bargarh district.

According to sources, the passers-by spotted the body of woman floating in the canal and informed the police about the incident.

The identity of the woman is not known yet.

On being informed, the Barapali police reached the spot and recovered the body from the canal. Police is conducting further investigation to ascertain whether this was an suicide death or a murder.
