Woman Electrocuted While Drying Clothes in Ganjam Village

Bhubaneswar: A 58-year-old woman lost her life after being electrocuted in Nabagochha village under Bhanjanagar police limits in Odisha’s Ganjam district.

The deceased has been identified as Kalabati Digal.

According to reports, the incident occurred while Kalabati was drying wet clothes in the courtyard of her house. She allegedly came into contact with a live electric wire, leading to a fatal shock.

Family members rushed her to Bhanjanagar Hospital, where doctors declared her brought dead.

On receiving information, police reached the spot, seized the body, and sent it for post-mortem examination. Further investigation into the incident is underway.
