Vikram lander is in a tilted position: ISRO

(Reporters Today, Bengaluru): Not losing hope, the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) continued to make efforts to re-establish link with Chandrayan-2. Vikram lander is in a single piece, however, it is in a tilted position, an ISRO official associated with the mission has said. As per the images sent by the orbiter’s camera it had a hard landing very close to the planned touchdown site. We are making all-out efforts to see whether communication can be established again, the official added.

Vikram lander, had lost communication with the ground stations during its final descent, just 2.1 Km above the lunar surface, in the early hours on last Saturday.
