Two Odisha Cricketers Included in IPL 2026 Auction List

Bhubaneswar: In a boost to Odisha cricket, two players from the state have been included in the IPL 2026 auction list. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has added Swastik Samal and Rajesh Mohanty to the final list of players to go under the hammer.

Both players were included in the list during the last phase of additions, with their base price fixed at Rs 30 lakh each. According to BCCI sources, a total of 19 players have been added to the auction pool in this final phase, including the two cricketers from Odisha.

The IPL 2026 auction is scheduled to be held on Tuesday in Abu Dhabi. In all, 369 players are set to be auctioned as franchises look to strengthen their squads for the upcoming season.
