Two JCB Operators Killed in Late-Night Road Accident in Bhadrak

Bhubaneswar: Two young men lost their lives in a tragic road accident on the Dhamara–Basudevpur Road in Odisha’s Bhadrak district late on Monday night after an unidentified vehicle rammed into their motorcycle.

The deceased have been identified as Deepak Raut and Chinmay Malik, both residents of Jajpur district. They were working as JCB operators.

According to reports, the mishap occurred while the duo was travelling towards Basudevpur. Following the collision, they were rushed to the Basudevpur Community Health Centre, where doctors declared both of them dead.

Local residents blamed the overspeeding of heavy vehicles on the stretch for the fatal accident and raised concerns over road safety in the area.

Police are expected to investigate the incident and identify the vehicle involved.
