Tight Security in Place During CM Mohan Charan Majhi’s Visit to Puri

Puri: Elaborate security arrangements were made by the district police during the visit of Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi to Puri on Saturday. The Chief Minister attended the Subhadra Shakti Mela and participated in the International Women’s Day celebrations.

According to officials, the visit concluded smoothly with police ensuring comprehensive security measures throughout the programme. The Chief Minister also attended the event organised for the disbursement of the fourth installment under the Subhadra scheme.

Police conducted thorough anti-sabotage checks at the venue and enforced strict access control to maintain security during the event. Adequate arrangements were also put in place for effective crowd management.

Traffic regulation and the movement of the Chief Minister’s motorcade were handled efficiently to ensure a seamless flow and prevent inconvenience to the public.

Officials said the programme, which included the Subhadra scheme disbursement and International Women’s Day celebration, concluded successfully under the supervision of the Puri district police.
