Tight Security for India–South Africa T20 in Cuttack

Bhubaneswar/Cuttack: The Commissionerate Police has put in place an extensive security plan ahead of the India–South Africa International T-20 match scheduled for December 9 at Barabati Stadium, Cuttack.
A deployment of 22 platoons of force and 111 officers has been arranged in Bhubaneswar, covering the teams’ place of stay and route lining. Authorities have also set up detailed traffic management, static ambulance support, Bomb Disposal Squad presence, plainclothes police personnel, and aerial surveillance. To ensure 24×7 vigilance and swift response, the Special Tactical Unit (STU) has also been stationed.

In Cuttack, security arrangements are even stronger. A total of 57 platoons of force, 411 officers, and 420 trained havildars/constables have been deployed at Barabati Stadium and other strategic locations across the city.
Officials said all measures have been meticulously planned to ensure a safe, secure, and incident-free tournament for players and spectators alike.
