Three Killed in Head-On Bike Collision Near Hilung Chhak in Sonepur

Sonepur: Three persons lost their lives following a head-on collision between two motorcycles near Hilung Chhak under Biramaharajpur police limits in Subarnapur district on Tuesday.

According to reports, the accident took place on the Birmaharajpur–Amarpali Road when the two bikes, travelling in opposite directions, collided head-on near Hilung Chhak.

One of the victims, Agasti Bhoi of Badmal village, died on the spot due to the impact of the crash. The two other injured riders — Bhagaban Sethi of Hilung village and Rinku Bhoi of Bankia village — were rushed to Burla Medical College and Hospital for treatment but succumbed to their injuries on the way.

Police have registered a case and initiated an investigation into the incident.
