Three criminals arrested in Cuttack

Surjit Kumar Dhal, Cuttack, June 24: Choudwar police has arrested three criminals and recovered a country made revolver from their possession.

       The arrested criminals are Chitta Ranjan Das of Talabazar, Mitu Samal and Ana Samal of Samal Sahi under Choudwar police station.

Police sources said, acting on tip off, police intercepted the trio moving in a scooty and on search recovered the revolver.

Later, during the investigation, the trio was ascertained as hardcore criminals involved in series of theft, burglary, dacoity cases under Choudwar, Tangi and Salepur police station.

The arrested criminals have also confessed that they carried firearm to rob passersby.
