Sunil Arora as new chief election commissioner

New Delhi , 26/11 : Sunil Arora will become the new chief election commissioner of India. President Ramnath Kovind has appointed him today. Mr Om Prakash Rawat will retire on 2nd December where as Arora will take his place. Before this rank, 62yr old Arora was the secretary chief of Central Board of Investigation. He was appointed as the election commissioner in the previous year.
