Rashtriya Nav Varsh, also known as Hindu New Year, is being observed on March 19, 2026, marking the beginning of Vikram Samvat 2083 on Chaitra Shukla Pratipada. The festival holds immense cultural and religious importance, symbolising new beginnings, prosperity, and the arrival of the spring season.

According to Hindu beliefs, the day is considered highly auspicious as it is believed that Lord Brahma began the creation of the universe on this occasion, making it an ideal time for new ventures and spiritual pursuits.
