Success Story of a Doctor to IAS

Bhubaneswar: An aspiration for countless individuals is the Civil Services Examination (CSE) conducted by the Union Public Service Commission, renowned as one of the most challenging exams in India. It is formidable in nature of the examination, still numerous candidates have achieved success through dedication and relentless effort. Mudita Sharma is among this who now serves as an Indian Defence Accounts Service officer.

She is the daughter of a government school teacher from Merta, Rajasthan. She has achieved an impressive feat by securing the 381st rank in the UPSC civil services exam. This achievement is for her determination and passion for public service.

Mudita grew up in an environment in which education was emphasised. She ranked 15th in the state during her Class 10 board exams. She was in her early education at a city school until Class 8. She attended the Girls Higher Secondary School for Class 10. She was in the government school in Merta Road for her Class 11 and 12.

Mudita Sharma pursued a degree in MBBS from SN Medical College, Jodhpur. She joined in medical career, working in a private hospital in Jaipur. Her dream of becoming an IAS officer led her to make a significant life decision. Mudita decided to leave her medical practice and fully commit to preparing for the UPSC civil services examination.

Her dedication paid off when she appeared the UPSC exam in 2022 and in her first attempt she secured the 381st rank . She left her medical practice behind to join for the important job.
