Student Found Dead Under Suspicious Circumstances at Hostel in Balangir

Bhubaneswar/Balangir: Tragedy struck at the Anwesha Hostel in Hianal under Kantabanji police station limits of Balangir district, where a student was found dead under mysterious circumstances on Saturday.

The deceased has been identified as Adarsh Seth, a resident of Belapada in Patnagarh. Adarsh was a student of Lions Public School, Kantabanji, and had returned to the hostel on September 3 after visiting his village for the Nuakhai festival.

According to reports, hostel authorities discovered his body and immediately informed the Kantabanji police, who launched an investigation into the matter. Adarsh’s mother rushed to the hostel after being notified of the incident.

While the exact cause of death has not yet been established, the incident has raised serious concerns regarding the circumstances leading to the student’s demise. Police said efforts are underway to ascertain the reasons behind his death, and further details will be revealed after the investigation progresses.
