Speaker Surama Padhy launch new website of Odisha Legislative Assembly
Bhubaneswar: Speaker Surama Padhy on Friday launched the new website of Odisha Legislative Assembly (OLA)-assembly.odisha.gov.in- with all information related to OLA.
According to the Speaker, the new website has been designed in latest technology offering user-friendly interface with a fresh look and is dedicated for the end users with all information relating to Odisha Legislative Assembly.
This website has been reportedly developed with the technical advice of the NICT Department of the Odisha Government and NIC, Government of India.
The website was not getting updated since 2011 but with the launching of this new website it is expected to be an important step in the journey towards a cleaner and more efficient governance.
Parliamentary Affairs Minister Mukesh Mahaling and Parliamentary Affairs Secretary Satyabrata Rout were present during the launching of the new website that will have information of each member of the house.

“It gives me immense pleasure to know that Odisha Legislative Assembly is going to launch its new website. It will be dedicated for the end users with all information relating to OLA. This new website has been designed in latest technology offering user-friendly interface and a fresh look that reflects our mission,” read the message of the Speaker.
It is a step forward in bringing the functioning of the Assembly closer to the citizens of Odisha, Rout said. “Through this platform, we aim to provide timely and accurate information regarding legislative business, Assembly proceedings, debates, Member details and various reports. It serves as a valuable resource not only for Members of the House but also for researchers, students, media and the general public,” he added.
