SOA globally ranked by Times Higher Education
(Reporters Today, Bhubaneswar): The Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan (SOA) Deemed to be University has once again underscored its pre-eminent position in the field of health as it has found place in a list of only nine such institutions in the country in the prestigious Times Higher Education World University Rankings.
SOA, has been placed in the 601 plus category in the world with University of Oxford leading the table for the 9th consecutive year. It is the only institution from Odisha as also the entire eastern region to figure in the rankings. The National University of Singapore, ranked 19th in the world, is the highest ranked institution in the list from Asia.
The other eight institutions in India which have found place in the THE list include Amrita Viswa Vidyapeetham, Banaras Hindu University, Manipal Academy of Higher Education, Panjab University, Aligarh Muslim University, Amity University, Annamalai University and SRM Institute of Science and Technology.
