Sidharth Malhotra’s father Sunil Malhotra passes away

New Delhi: Actor Sidharth Malhotra’s father, Sunil Malhotra passed away at his residence while sleeping and his last rites were completed at Delhi in the presence of the close ones.

It is also said that Sunil Malhotra was suffering from health issues and was also unwell since March 2025, Sidharth’s mother reportedly took care of his father and the medicines alone, Sid mentioned in an interview last year.

Actor Sidharth along with wife, Kiara Advani rushed to the capital city, Delhi as soon as they got the news of father, Sunil Malhotra’s death. Adding to it they will be staying for a few days with the family to support them in every possible way during this difficult time.

Bollywood Actor, Sidharth has also made an Instagram post confirming with a heart breaking note that Sunil Malhotra has passed away while he was asleep.

In the post he pays tribute to his late father, “He was a man of rare honesty, integrity and culture.” And continued the paragraph with emotions saying, “He lived by values that never bent. Discipline without harshness. Strength without ego. Positivity, even when life tested him beyond measure. From commanding the seas as a Merchant Navy Captain to facing illness with quiet courage, he never compromised, never lost his grace. Even when the stroke confined him to a wheelchair, his spirit stood tall.”

Also states what he has integrated from him, “Papa, your integrity is my inheritance. Your strength guides me every day. Your positivity still holds this family together.” And then writes the most difficult part informing the public about his father’s death, “You left us peacefully in your sleep, but the space you leave behind is immeasurable.”

Additionally says, “I am who I am because of you. And I will carry your name, your values and your light forward always. Love you Dad ❤️❤️.”
