Sex Racket Busted in Dhenkanal

Dhenkanal: Police last night busted a sex racket operating from a house near Caltex Chhak in Dhenkanal.

Shivaji Mohanty, the kingpin of the racket and owner of the house, was arrested in this connection. As many as two women of Baleswar, who were engaged in the flesh trade, have been rescued by police. Acting on a tip-off regarding the illegal activity, police had raided the house at around 10 PM.

While the kingpin was nabbed, some customers managed to flee the spot. Police have seized a car and started an investigation into the incident. Shivaji was earlier arrested and sent to jail. However, after being released on bail, he again got involved in operating sex racket, police sources said.
