Second Installment of Subhadra Yojana money today

Bhubaneswar: Good news for Subhadra Yojana beneficiaries as the second installment to be disbursed to their accounts today. Odisha CM Mohan Majhi will distribute the second installment money to over 1 crore.

The second installment of Subhadra Yojana money will be distributed from Vivek Bihar ground in Ambapua of Berhampur. Around 25,000 women are likely to attend the programme at Ambapua. Several Ministers, MPs and MLAs will also attend the programme.

The fifth phase of the first instalment of the Subhadra Yojana money has been deposited in the account of women beneficiaries. In the fifth phase, more than 2 lakh 30 thousand new beneficiaries shall receive the financial assistance.

It is to be noted that the beneficiaries of Subhadra yojana are being given Rs 10,000 per year in two instalments of Rs 5,000 each. The fourth phase of the first instalment of the  Subhadra Yojana money was distributed on February 8. The state government sent money to the accounts of more than 18 lakh women on this day.

The government will reportedly close the application process on March 31 and conduct a survey. The officials will go door-to-door to take up the survey.
