Cuttack: As predicted by the India Meteorological Department (IMD), the entire state of Odisha has been witnessing intense coldwave condition along with thick fog for the last several days.

The weather department also has predicted that such bone-biting cold weather condition will continue to prevail across the state. In view of this, the

School timing changed due to intense coldwave conditions Cuttack Collector & District Magistrate Dattatraya Bhausaheb Shinde changed the timing of school saying all types of schools of Cuttack district to function from 10 AM to 4 PM on every Saturday until further instructions.

“Keeping in view of severe cold & thick fog across the District as well as approaching session end exam, the Collector & District Magistrate, Cuttack, is pleased to allow all types of Schools of Cuttack District to function from 10.00 Α.Μ. to 4.00 P.M. on every Saturday until further instructions,” read the official order issued by the Collector & District Magistrate, Cuttack today.

Meanwhile, the regional centre of the IMD in Bhubaneswar has issued yellow warning for cold wave conditions over districts of Jharsuguda, Sundargarh, Cuttack, Khurda and Angul for tomorrow.

Similarly, cold wave condition is also very likely to prevail in isolated pockets over districts of Sundargarh, Jharsuguda, Angul and Dhenkanal on day after tomorrow.
