Sampad, Sambit to lock horn in Paradip

Surjit Kumar Dhal,Paradip, March 31: BJP Jagatsinghpur district Yuva Morcha Sampad Swain will lock horn with ruling BJD and son of Dr Damodar Rout in the politically sensitive Paradip assembly constituency.

The seat was earlier held by Dr Rout who has since switched allegiance towards the saffron party after being expelled from the ruling party few months ago.

However, Congress till late Saturday evening had not declared its candidate for the constituency.

Dr Rout has now shifted to Balikuda-Erasama constituency which he represented before being shifted to Paradip.

The voters and BJD party workers of the constituency appear confused with a peculiar situation due to Dr Rout contesting from the neighbouring constituency on a BJP ticket.
