Salipur Police Seize Large Cache of Illegal Fireworks and Explosives

Salipur: In a major crackdown today, Salipur Police seized a substantial quantity of illegal fireworks and explosives, officials said. The operation led to the arrest of Mahendra Parmanik, a resident of Manitri village, in connection with Salipur Police Case No. 472/25.

Authorities confirmed that the seizure was part of an ongoing drive aimed at ensuring public safety and preventing accidents during festive and other occasions. The police have pledged to continue the operation with full vigilance to curb the circulation of illegal explosives in the region.

Officials have urged citizens to report any suspicious activities related to fireworks or explosives and assured that strict action would be taken against offenders.
