RUCHI Foodline Founder Dr. Sarat Chandra Sahu Passes Away at 75

Bhubaneswar: Odisha has lost one of its most respected industrial leaders, Dr. Sarat Chandra Sahu, who passed away at the age of 75 while undergoing treatment at Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai.
According to family sources, Dr. Sahu had been unwell for some time and was admitted to the hospital for advanced medical care. Despite the best efforts of doctors, he breathed his last late Saturday night.

A pioneering figure in Odisha’s industrial growth, Dr. Sahu was known for his visionary leadership, business acumen, and unwavering commitment to the state’s economic development. Over the decades, he played a key role in promoting industrial ventures that generated employment and contributed to Odisha’s manufacturing and trade sectors.
Beyond his professional achievements, Dr. Sahu was also admired for his philanthropic work, extending generous support to educational institutions, healthcare initiatives, and community welfare projects. His humility, dedication, and compassion earned him immense respect from peers, employees, and the people whose lives he touched.
Several prominent personalities from business, political, and social circles have expressed deep grief over his passing, describing him as a true son of Odisha who devoted his life to the state’s progress.
