Rs 100 crore received for CM Relief Fund by OMC

State-run Odisha Mining Corporation (OMC) has contributed Rs 100 crore to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund (CMRF) for the government’s “Harischandra Sahayata” and “Mahaprayan” schemes.

Minister of Steel and Mines Prafulla Kumar Mallik handed over a cheque for this amount to Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik at Naveen Niwas in presence of Additional Chief Secretary, Steel and Mines Department and Chairman, OMC Deoranjan Kumar Singh.

The fund contributed to CMRF will help the poor and destitute to avail financial aid under various Government schemes.
