Rourkela: Two brothers killed after being hit by train

Rourkela: In a tragic incident, two brothers were killed after being hit by a train in Odisha’s Rourkela of Sundargarh district on Tuesday night. The incident happened near the Basanti colony in the city.
According to information, the two brothers were crossing the railway tracks while it was raining heavily last night. Just then the Birmitrapur passenger train hit them.
Due to the limited visibility for heavy rains, the two brothers could not notice the approaching train.
They were taken to the Rourkela Government Hospital mortuary for post-mortem. The two were siblings were aged 18 and 15 years.
The Government Railway Police (GRP) is investigating the matter. A pall of gloom ascended the family after the death of the two brothers.
In another incident, the body of a YouTuber was found on the railway tracks near Palaspalli in Bhubaneswar on August 31. He allegedly parked his bike near the bridge, kept the key in his pocket and jumped to the railway track and was killed after being run over by a train.
An approaching train on the railway track cut his body into pieces. The Government Railway police (GRP) is investigating the matter. They have sent the body for autopsy.
