Robbers break into house at night, loot jewellery & cash

Talcher: A daring robbery took place in Angul district of Odisha yesterday night in which the robbers took away gold jewelry, cash etc. from two houses. The loot took place at the residence of Bijay Sahu and Rajesh Sahu in Sainali village in Talcher area.

As per information received, the incident occurred when the homeowners were away, and five robbers took advantage of the situation, breaking into the house. One of them kept watch outside while the other four looted the valuables after breaking into the almirahs. The CCTV footage of the incident is avaialable.

Bijay Sahu has filed a complaint with police, stating that the robbers got away with a gold chain, 5 gold rings, 2 gold necklaces, and cash. Authorities are investigating the matter and reviewing the CCTV footage to track down the culprits.
