Ratna Bhandar Inventory at Shree Jagannath Temple to Resume from April 8

Bhubaneswar: The second phase of the inventory of the Ratna Bhandar of Shree Jagannath Temple will begin on Wednesday, April 8, in accordance with the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) approved by the state government.
The inventory process, which had initially started on March 25, will resume tomorrow morning and continue for four consecutive days till April 11. The exercise will be paused on April 12 (Sunday) and will resume again on April 13.

As per the schedule, the process will continue on April 14 and 15, followed by another three-day phase from April 16 to April 18. Further dates will be decided after necessary consultations, officials said.
The temple administration has assured that daily rituals of the Holy Trinity—Lord Jagannath, Lord Balabhadra, and Devi Subhadra—will continue without any disruption during the inventory process.
However, due to security arrangements, devotees will be allowed darshan only up to Bahar Katha, while access beyond Bhitar Katha will remain completely restricted during this period.
Authorized Palia Sevaks will be permitted free entry into the Jagmohan and the sanctum sanctorum to carry out rituals. Special passes have been arranged for them, and distribution of these passes has already begun.
SJTA Chief Administrator Dr. Arabinda Kumar Padhee has appealed to all concerned to extend full cooperation during the inventory process, similar to the earlier phase.
