Ranji Trophy: Jharkhand Post 433/8 Declared, Odisha Trail By 410 Runs On Day 3

Bhubaneswar: Odisha ended the third day of their Ranji Trophy Elite Group C match against Jharkhand at 23 without loss, trailing by 410 runs at the KIIT Cricket Stadium on Wednesday.

Openers Swastik Samal (17) and Gourav Choudhury (6) remained unbeaten at stumps after Jharkhand declared their first innings at 433 for eight.

Jharkhand’s total was powered by centuries from Aditya Singh (104 off 298 balls) and Robin Minz (100 not out off 140 balls). Anukul Roy also made a valuable contribution with 89 off 140 deliveries.

For Odisha, Rajesh Mohanty and Lalit Yadav claimed two wickets each, while Badal Biswal picked up one.

Odisha now face a challenging task as their batters look to bridge the substantial first-innings deficit and avoid conceding a significant lead.
