Ramakrushna Das Mohapatra takes part in Srimandir

Puri: The suspension period of Daitapati Nijoga Secretary Ramakrushna Das Mohapatra has ended. He has entered the Srimandir after his suspension period got over.
Ahead of Deba Snana purnima tomorrow, the Daitapati Das Mahapatra has entered Srimandir and taken over his responsibilities in the rituals. Today being the Senapata Lagi several rituals are being carried out at the Srimandir.
Further, as per reports, Dasmohapatra said that he had provided the surplus wood (Daru) of Nabakalebara of the deities of Puri Srimandira to be used in the making of the deities for the Digha temple. However, later he denied that he had not stated this. On May 3, a police complaint was filed in his name by a RTI activist.
Arabinda Padhee, the Chief Administrator of Shree Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA) on May 11 suspended Daitapati Ramakrushna Das Mahapatra.
The SJTA Chief Administrator, which had earlier issued two separate show-cause notices to Daitapati Sevak Ramakrushna Das Mahapatra over the ongoing “Digha Jagannath Dham” row, suspended him from his service to Lord Jagannath and his siblings.
Padhee also informed that Ramakrushna Das Mahapatra has been barred from entering the 12th century shrine.
It is to be noted here that Mahapatra was served two show-cause notices, first one on May 4 and second one on May 9, over the controversy surrounding “Digha Jagannath Temple” and “Digha Jagannath Dham.”
It has been alleged that Mahapatra provided Nabakalebar surplus wood that was used for making the idols of Digha Jagannath temple. He also took part in the consecration of the temple.
