Rahul Gandhi to hold crucial meeting with Odisha leaders in Delhi today

Bhubaneswar: A vital meeting of the Congress party will be held in Delhi today where party leader Rahul Gandhi will meet with the Congress leaders from Odisha. The meeting will include AICC President Mallikarjun Kharge, Rahul Gandhi and other senior leaders. The aim of the meeting is to discuss a detailed organizational strategy for Odisha as well as provide guidance to the observers appointed for 35 districts.
According to reports, the Congress party has appointed 35 observers for the organizational districts in Odisha as part of its ‘Sangathan Srijan Abhiyan.’ The observers will visit their assigned districts, review the local leadership and submit three names for the position of the district president. The names will be submitted to the AICC who will then select the district president.
The meeting will also focus on how to improve the party’s grassroots presence and build a robust leadership cadre in Odisha. The former PCC President has also reached out to the AICC to increase the importance of Odisha, especially in terms of its significance at the national level.
