Puri Police Launch WhatsApp Chatbot for Citizen Services

Puri: In a major push towards citizen-centric policing and digital innovation, Puri Police on Wednesday launched a WhatsApp-based chatbot service titled “Puri Police Sahayak.” The service was inaugurated by IG, Central Range, Dr. Satyajit Naik, in the presence of Puri SP Shri Prateek Singh.
The chatbot has been introduced to make police services more accessible, efficient, and user-friendly for both residents and tourists visiting the city. Available кругл the clock, the platform allows users to access essential services instantly through their mobile devices.

Citizens can use the service by scanning a designated QR code or simply sending a “Hi” message to the official WhatsApp number.
The chatbot offers several key features, including reporting lost mobile phones, providing feedback to the police, and locating the nearest police station. The initiative is expected to improve response time and strengthen communication between the police and the public.
Officials highlighted that the service will be especially beneficial for tourists, offering timely assistance, guidance, and easy access to important information during their stay in Puri.

Speaking at the launch, IG Dr. Naik said the initiative reflects Puri Police’s commitment to adopting technology-driven solutions to enhance public service delivery and ensure prompt assistance to citizens.
