Prez Dedicates Super Specialty Hospital to Nation

Rourkela (Reporters Today Bureau): Indian President Ram Nath Kovind today inaugurated the Super Specialty Hospital at Steel City Rourkela and Ispat Post Graduate Institute here. The hospital has several super specialty facilities and sophisticated equipment which are unique in the region. Apart from catering to 6 lakh people residing in Rourkela, the hospital will be a boon for lakhs of people inhabiting adjacent districts and neighbouring states.

The 200-bedded hospital has facilities for Neurology, Neuro Surgery, Cardiology, Cardio Thoracic & Vascular Surgery, and Nephrology. The hospital is also adorned with avant-garde medical equipment like MRI 3 Tesla, CT scan 256 slice, 2 Cath Labs (uniplane & biplane), CRRT machine besides having five modular operation theatres laced with sophisticated technology.

Governor of the state Prof. Ganeshi Lal, Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, and Odisha Health Minister Naba Kishore Das were present on the super occasion.
