President Murmu to Visit Odisha for Navy Day

Bhubaneswar: President Droupadi Murmu is scheduled to visit Odisha for five days starting December 3, where she will participate in several official events, including the Indian Navy Day celebrations on December 4.
According to the itinerary, President Murmu will arrive at Bhubaneswar airport at 5 p.m. on December 3. The following day, on December 4, she will visit the Jagannath Temple in Puri from 10:15 to 10:40 a.m. After offering prayers at the 12th-century temple, she will attend the Navy Day celebrations at the Blue Flag Beach in Puri at 3:55 p.m. As the Chief Guest, President Murmu will join the Indian Navy for a grand Operational Demonstration.
The Navy Day event, hosted by Admiral Dinesh K Tripathi, Chief of Naval Staff, will commemorate the anniversary of Operation Trident, a significant naval offensive during the 1971 Indo-Pak War. The demonstration will showcase over 15 ships, submarines, and more than 40 aircraft, supported by Marine Commandos (MARCOS) and Indian Army personnel. Aerial maneuvers, combat exercises, submarine operations, and amphibious landings are among the highlights.
On December 5, President Murmu will attend the 40th Convocation of Odisha University of Agriculture and Technology (OUAT) in Bhubaneswar and will also inaugurate the New Judicial Court Complex.
From December 6-7, she will visit her home district of Mayurbhanj before returning to New Delhi on December 7.
