President Droupadi Murmu to Address Odisha Assembly Today in Historic First

Bhubaneswar: President Droupadi Murmu will address the Odisha Legislative Assembly today, marking a historic first for the state. The event has generated considerable anticipation, with MLAs looking forward to her insights.
The President is expected to speak on the themes of “Viksit Bharat” and “Viksit Odisha,” highlighting the importance of strong representation of public issues in the Assembly. The programme will begin at 4:30 pm, preceded by a photo session with the MLAs. The state government has made all arrangements for the high-profile event.

The Winter Session of the Odisha Assembly also begins today and will run until December 31, covering 29 working days. On November 28, Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi will present the first supplementary budget for 2025–26, followed by discussions on additional expenditure demands from December 4 onward.
