Preparations in full swing for PM Narendra Modi’s Odisha visit

Bhubaneswar: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Odisha on September 27. He will be on a one-day visit to Ganjam district and will attend the ‘Seva Parba’ programme at the Rangeilunda airstrip in the premises of Berhampur University.

According to information, a review meeting under the leadership of Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi was held last night at the Lok Seva Bhavan.

He is also slated to inaugurate a series of landmark development projects. This include inauguration of capacity expansion of eight IITs in the country, doubling of Koraput-Baiguda and Manabar-Koraput-Gorapur railway lines, inauguration of Sambalpur-Sarla flyover.

He will also launch the indigenous 4G network services across the country by BSNL, declaration of global super specialty status to MKCG and VIMSAR Medical Colleges, inauguration of skill development projects across the country, assistance to 50,000 beneficiaries under Antyodaya Gruha Jojana and various other development programs.

Ganjam Collector Keerthi Vasan V, Southern range Inspector General (IG), Berhampur SP, Minister Bibhuti Jena reviewed the on-site preparations in Ganjam.

Similarly, BJP MLA, MP, Ministers and other party members have also conducted a preparatory meeting for the visit of PM Modi on September 27. He is scheduled to arrive at 11.00 am in Berhampur and address the youth in the national level “Seva Parba” programme.
