Police encounter in Berhampur: 1 injured

Berhampur: An encounter broke out between police and a dreaded criminal in Berhampur. In the encounter, notorious criminal Sunil Nahak has been critically injured.

The incident occurred near Pitapali under Golanthara police limits. Police shot two rounds of fire on the criminal in which he was injured on his left leg. He was then rushed to MKCG in Berhampur in a critical condition.

According to information, there are over 20 cases lodged in several police stations against him including murder, dacoity, loot etc. Police was searching him for a case against him in Nimakhandi police station.
