PM-KISAN: Over ₹707 Crore for Odisha Farmers

The 24th instalment of the PM-KISAN scheme will be released tomorrow on the occasion of PM-KISAN Utsav Divas. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will launch the nationwide disbursement at an event in Banaskantha, Gujarat.

In Odisha, ₹707.85 crore will be transferred directly to the bank accounts of 35,39,297 farmers. The state-level programme will begin at 9 AM at OUAT Krushi Shiksha Sadan in Bhubaneswar.

Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi and Deputy Chief Minister Kanak Vardhan Singh Deo will attend the event. The financial assistance is expected to help farmers meet seasonal agricultural expenses and support rural livelihoods.
