Patha Utsav 2026 Brings Culture, Fitness to Jagamara New Road in Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar: The second edition of Patha Utsav 2026 transformed Jagamara New Road into a vibrant cultural hub on Sunday, drawing large crowds of residents who took part in a range of cultural, fitness, and recreational activities.
The day-long festival showcased Odissi and contemporary dance performances, while a separate stage featuring DJ music kept young participants entertained. The entire road stretch was decorated with colourful rangoli designs, enhancing the festive ambience.

Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) Mayor Sulochana Das thanked city residents for their enthusiastic participation and appreciated the efforts of the civic body in organising the event.
“The first Patha Utsav was successful because of the residents, and today’s edition has seen equally energetic participation. I also thank the BMC team for organising the event,” the mayor said.
Apart from dance and music, participants engaged in yoga sessions, skating, games, street plays, and traditional performances. The event successfully blended cultural celebration with fitness and recreation, reinforcing Patha Utsav’s aim of promoting community bonding and healthy lifestyles in the city.
