Pak Violates Ceasefire in Poonch

New Delhi: Pakistan today violated the ceasefire in Jammu and Kashmir’s Poonch and Indian jawans were returning the fire. Army statement says, Pakistan initiated an unprovoked ceasefire violation, firing with small arms and shelling with mortars along in Shahpur and Kirni area of Poonch.

A civilian was killed and four others injured in firing by Pak army in the Tangdhar sector of Kupwara in Jammu and Kashmir last night.

According to army reports, Pakistan resorted to indiscriminate shelling and firing on Indian army camp and villages close to the boarder. Some of the shells landed in the residential areas in which one civilian was killed and the others were injured. Some houses were also damaged in the  mortars shelling.
