Overhauling Sundergarh By DM Nikhil Pawan Kalyan

Sundergarh (Surjit Kumar Dhal): From the date IAS Nikhil Pawan Kalyan assumed as the District magistrate of Sundergarh district, he has been tirelessly executing all developmental works under his purview. With the successful fight against the Corona pandemic, he became successful to engage 39 vehicles for Sundergarh Police patrolling, 25 for Rourkela and the rest are for the other areas of the district.

His effort became truthful to install of silent diesel generators for undisrupted power supply in important places of the district. In this scheme 188 DG sets has been installed with a cost of 14 crores.

He is also instrumental in providing Mahaprayana Vehicles for the district. A total of 15 Mahaprayana Vehicles were launched to cover the district with GPS tracking system.

Moreover, upgradation of electrical system in 17 blocks, 03 ULBs and RMC, Rourkela has been successfully performed. 21 projects are being undertaken with an expenditure of 10 crores.

In between the Corona epidemic, the Super DM also adjusts his mind with developmental programs. The super works by the energetic IAS are being praised by the administrative groups as well as by the public.
