Ok PM Modi Leads Bhubaneswar Roadshow to Mark BJP Govt’s 1st Anniversary

Bhubaneswar: Prime Minister Narendra Modi led a grand roadshow in Bhubaneswar on Thursday to commemorate the first anniversary of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government in Odisha. The high-energy event saw massive public participation as citizens lined both sides of the route to catch a glimpse of the Prime Minister.

Modi arrived in the capital city in the afternoon and commenced the roadshow from Biju Patnaik International Airport (BPIA), proceeding towards Janata Maidan. The route covered prominent city landmarks including Capital Hospital Square, AG Square, Raj Bhawan Chowk, Power House Square, 120 Battalion Square, Jaydev Vihar Square, and Nalco Square.

Cultural troupes from across the state added colour to the event by performing traditional dances and music, showcasing Odisha’s rich heritage and vibrant culture.

At Janata Maidan, the Prime Minister is scheduled to address a massive public gathering and unveil the Odisha Vision Document 2036—a strategic roadmap aimed at transforming Odisha into a developed state by the time it celebrates 100 years of its formation.

In addition to outlining the long-term vision, Modi will also inaugurate several developmental projects and lay foundation stones for others, reaffirming the Centre’s commitment to Odisha’s progress.

This marks the Prime Minister’s sixth visit to Odisha since the BJP formed its maiden government in the state in 2024.
