Officers to visit villages every month to collect feedback 

In a bid to have a watch over proper implementation of government schemes among people, Development Commissioner Anu Garg asked all the seniors officers to visit villages every month.

In her letter Development Commissioner Anu Garg directed Senior officers and secretaries of various departments in Odisha to visit and make night halts in villages every month to monitor implementation of government schemes, projects and programmes in all sectors including education, healthcare, irrigation and social security.

This process will not only help to get a proper feedback but also officials would get them closer to people and share all the issues.

The officials have been asked to visit the villages and blocks in the third week of every month and ensure effective execution of plan.
