Odish’s Wonder kid becomes India’s fastest blindfolded typist

(Reporters Today): Wonder child Dipti Sharma of Jharsuguda district has shattered records by becoming the youngest in India who can type English letters sequentially while being blindfolded the fastest at 3.54 seconds. For this unique talent, she recently entered the India Book of Records.

Dipti, a class III student, is now aiming to feature in the Guinness World Records. The current world record is at 1.80 seconds.

Wishing to be a scientist in future the child prodigy revealed that she has been practicing for last one and half year with the support of her parents. While her mother said, Dipti is working hard and she is getting better each day and as of now she is easily able to type the letters in just 2.90 seconds. The India Book of Records or Indian Book of Records is a reference book published annually in India, listing human and natural Indian records.
