Odisha: Truck Fire Claims Driver’s Life, Leaves Helper in Critical Condition

Kuchinda: A tragic incident occurred, where a driver lost his life in a horrifying manner as his truck caught fire, in Kuchinda, Sambalpur district, Odisha on Wednesday

According to reports, the incident was a result of a head-on collision with a coal-laden truck near Bada Kundesara, under the jurisdiction of Jamankira police in Sambalpur district.

Regrettably, the driver’s identity remains unknown currently. On the other hand, the helper of the mini truck involved in the collision suffered critical injuries and has been rushed to the hospital for medical attention.

On receiving information, the fire brigade promptly responded to the scene and managed to extinguish the fire. However, the vehicle was extensively damaged, with its contents also being engulfed by the flames.
