Odisha to Witness Rain & Thunderstorm Soon

Bhubaneswar (Reporters Today Bureau): The Regional Meteorological Centre has forecasted rain and thundershower for several areas of the State till February 19. Here’s day-wise forecast issued by the Meteorological Centre:

Feb 16: Light to moderate rain or thundershower very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Bargarh, Jharsuguda, Sambalpur, Sundargarh, Kendujhar and Mayurbhanj, and dry weather very likely to prevail over the rest districts of Odisha.

Feb 17: Light to moderate rain or thundershower very likely to occur at a few places over the
districts of Nuapada, Balangir, Kalahandi, Boudh, Subarnapur, Sambalpur and Angul and at one or two places over the rest districts of interior Odisha, Baleswar, Bhadrak and Cuttack. Dry weather very likely to prevail over the rest districts of Odisha.

Yellow Warning– Thunderstorm with lightning very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Nuapada, Balangir, Kalahandi, Boudh, Subarnapur, Sambalpur, Angul, Kendujhar, Mayurbhanj and Baleswar.

Feb 18: Light to moderate rain or thundershower very likely to occur at a few places over the districts of south interior Odisha and at one or two places over the rest districts of Odisha.

Yellow Warning– Thunderstorm with lightning very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Nabarangpur, Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Rayagada, Ganjam, Nayagarh, Boudh, Angul, Kendujhar, Mayurbhanj, Dhenkanal, Baleswar, Bhadrak and Jajpur.

Feb 19: Light to moderate rain or thundershower very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts Kendujhar, Mayurbhanj, Baleswar, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Malkangiri, Koraput, Rayagada, Gajapati, Ganjam, Kandhamal and dry weather very likely to prevail over the rest districts of Odisha.
