Odisha to Witness Private Buses on Road from Tomorrow

Bhubaneswar (Reporters Today Bureau): Odisha to witness private buses on road from tomorrow. The Private Bus Owners’ Association has taken decision in this regard today.

As per reports, a general council meeting of the association was held today where finally it was decided that the bus service will resume across Odisha from tomorrow. However, it has been reported that only a few number of buses will start providing service tomorrow. It will take another 10 days to run all the buses.

It is to be noted that private bus service was temporarily unavailable for the last two months following imposition of COVID-19 Lockdown.

On May 24 the State Govt had allowed running of the bus on the roads. However, the bus owners were not prepared to resume the service due to some controversies with the government. Today, the problems were discussed and finally it was decided to run the buses from tomorrow.
