Odisha to Hold Collectors-SPs Conference on November 18–19

Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government will organise a two-day conference of District Collectors and Superintendents of Police (SPs) on November 18 and 19 at the State Convention Centre, Lok Seva Bhawan, to strengthen coordination between the administrative and police machinery.

Announced by the General Administration and Public Grievance (GA&PG) Department, the conference will focus on enhancing governance, law enforcement, and public service delivery across the state.

Key discussion areas will include law and order, revenue administration, inter-departmental coordination, and strategies to improve responsiveness in public grievance redressal. The annual exercise will also serve as a platform to review field-level performance and identify measures to ensure efficient and transparent governance.

Senior officials from both administrative and police departments are expected to exchange insights and formulate strategies aimed at improving public welfare and tackling operational challenges.
