Odisha, The Frontrunner in Corona Fight

Bhubaneswar (Surjit Kumar Dhal): While Caronavirus has been terrorizing the world, India’s situation is deteriorating day by day. Currently, there are more than 9,000 cases of infection in the country every day. This has become a challenge for both the central and state governments. At this juncture, the governments of all states are working hard to curb the Carona pandemic. Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Aditya Nath Kerala CM Pinarai Bijayan, Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik and WB CM Mamata Banerjee are shows positive hope in the fight against Carona in the nation.
According to a survey by a national media house, a total 2,76,583 people have been infected with this hazardous disease in the country, while 1,35,205 have cured and returned home, killing 7745 people. But Maharashtra is currently in the worst position in the country. In Maharashtra 90,787 people have been infected so far, 44,860 have recovered and 3289 have died. Uddhav Thackeray has issued a lockdown in the state. Maharashtra has become a corona center in India. No control over corona is possible in Maharashtra. According to the number of cured people, the health rate is 46.96% and the death rate is 3.62%. The situation in the national capital, Delhi, is also worrying. In Delhi, 31,309 people have been infected, 11,861 have recovered and 905 have died. In Delhi, the health rate is 37.89%, while the death rate is 2.89%. In Uttar Pradesh, the total number of cases was 11,335, of which 6971 were cured, which is 61%. The death toll was 321, with a death rate of 2.81%. In West Bengal, the total number was 8985, while cured count is 3,620 with rate of 40.2%, and 415 deaths with rate of 4.61%. In Rajasthan a total 74.05% patients have been cured from a total count of 11,245, while 255 died at a rate of 2.26. In Kerala, the recovery rate was 40.45 per cent, while the death rate was 0.76 per cent with a total 16 death. In Odisha, nine people have died and 2,133 have recovered. This means that Odisha has a cured rate of 67.9% and a death rate of 0.28%.
This means that the Corona situation in Kerala and Odisha is in a better than other states of the country, with both the number of recovered and dead. However, Odisha’s recovery and management rate is higher than Kerala. This proves that Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik is ahead of other states in the fight against corona.
