Odisha Sees 40 More COVID Deaths

Bhubaneswar (Reporters Today Bureau): A total 40 COVID-19 patients in the state succumbed to the virus in the last 24 hours in Odisha, taking the toll to 2,952.

“Regret to inform the demise of thirty nine numbers of Corona positive patients while under treatment in hospitals,” informed the State Health and Family Welfare Department today.

The fatalities have been reported from 15 districts: highest six deaths from Khordha; four each from Cuttack, Mayurbhanj, and Sundargarh; three each from Angul, Jharsuguda, Kalahandi and Boudh; two each from Balangir, Bargarh and Deogarh; and one each from Ganjam, Sambalpur, Kandhamal  and Nayagarh.
